The Course/Mountain

Location: Jindabyne, NSW, Australia.
Jindabyne is the gateway to the NSW Snowy Mountains and it only makes sense that a mountain bike event should be held in this location.

The course is positioned along side the spectacular Lake Jindabyne and features classic high country terrain with a jutting rock face, scrub and gum trees. The view surrounding the course encompasses the deep blue water of Lake Jindabyne, the famous Snowy River and wild rural terrain setting a perfect backdrop in an optimum filming environment.

The trail: Well it's not exactly a trail....it's more like wilderness, with rock, some extremely technical sections and a few man-made jumps and ramps.
The course is up to 40 metres wide in areas but also funnels into two metre sections.

Vertical drop: 300m approximately.

Length: 1km approximately.

Terrain: Rock, scrub, dirt, sparsely spaced trees and a few man-made obstacles to keep them honest.
