Special thanks
The ATMBC was the first event of its kind to be held in the world
and it took an enormous amount of energy and time from a huge number
of people. Trying to thank each and every soul would take at least
a thousand words....so for all you people that helped in anyway to
make the ATMBC an outstanding success....Thank You, you're all living
legends.
With a high profile event comes the need to have an army of sponsors.
The sponsors that supported the ATMBC are pioneers and worthy of great
praise for taking on an event with no history or proof of past success.
The ATMBC sponsors had vision and faith in freeride mountain biking
and were willing to take the risk on a first time event. You guys
rock, thanks heaps.
Sponsors of the ATMBC:
Commonwealth Regional Assistance Program - government grant, Red Bull,
Lifesavers, Snowy Mountains Backpackers, Kellogg's Sustain, Impulse,
Wilfred's Café, Silvertop Snowy Mountains Retreat, Tasco Binoculars,

Balcony Bistro, Snowy Helicopters, NSW Sport & Recreation, Snowy

Club, Jindabyne Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Snowy Mountains, Jindabyne
Partnership and Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA).
Special thanks to MTBA for being able to see the big picture benefits
for mountain biking and sanctioning an event that didn't quite fit
into the square.
Thanks to the media who are an essential part of this awesome circle
of people.
ATMBC motion footage made the news on ABC, Ten, Nine and Seven networks
in Australia. The half-hour production has been broadcast on Fox Sports
Australia and Resort Sports Network in the USA will be featuring the
show throughout the summer season (Northern Hemisphere). A video of
the incredible riding and whole event has also been produced. The
television and video productions are being distributed and marketed
worldwide. Print media has also been excellent with a seven page spread
in Inside Sport, feature articles in every major Australian bike magazine
and in Planet X. Electronic media also includes multiple coverage
on a list of web sites.
Finally, thanks to the riders who competed in the ATMBC. It was a
fantastic vibe having you all there. In essence the ATMBC is a celebration
of your individual and awesome riding skills.
Thanks for the interest,
Nolen Oayda
Project Manager.
